Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students at the elementary level as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Make a meaningful impact working with PreK3 through 3rd-grade learners in a dynamic school environment near Berlin, MD. This in-person position involves direct engagement with a caseload of approximately 60 students experiencing mild to moderate disabilities, giving you the chance to facilitate growth and confidence in communication skills during this pivotal stage of development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license and ASHA CCC required
  • Experience with pediatric populations, preferably elementary age
  • Familiarity with mild to moderate disabilities and related speech/language needs
  • Strong collaborative, organizational, and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and invested in positive student outcomes

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders for PreK3-3rd grade students
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to team planning
  • Provide consultative support and resources to educate staff and caregivers
