Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Machine Technician to work at a premier manufacturing client in Rapid City, SD. Sound like something you’re interested in? Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20.00 per hour, $19 while training
Shift: Second Shift, Mon - Fri 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM (Must be able to train on First Shift)

What’s a typical day as a Machine Technician? You’ll be:
  • Preparing equipment and loading mail into postal trays
  • Palletizing postal trays, monitoring mail quality during machine operation
  • Assisting operators with additional tasks as needed
  • Operating and monitoring multiple pieces of equipment to ensure quality production and minimal downtime
  • Communicating with team members and support staff to maintain continuous production
  • Following standardized procedures and adhering to safety and housekeeping standards
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Possess knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a manufacturing environment
  • Are able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-speed setting, following instructions and established guidelines
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Have the physical stamina and strength required for the role
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
