General Laborer- 1st Shift

Job Description

Join a concrete manufacturing facility that produces underground utility piping, manholes, and related concrete structures for municipal and heavy highway construction projects. In this hands-on role, you work with concrete forms, rebar, and finishing tools to help create high-quality products used beneath streets, sidewalks, and other infrastructure.

Shift: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: $18.50/hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the production of concrete piping, manholes, and related underground utility components using established manufacturing processes.
• Read and interpret tape measures and basic blueprints to understand build specifications and ensure products meet required dimensions.
• Assemble rebar to fit inside molds for concrete pipes and other structures, following drawings and instructions for each project.
• Pour concrete into forms and help set up and strip molds in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Use hand tools and power tools confidently and safely for tasks such as cutting, assembling, and finishing components.
• Lift, move, and drag concrete parts weighing up to 50 pounds to designated areas for curing and finishing.
• Operate hand sanders and other finishing tools to smooth and finish concrete surfaces once products have fully cured.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Martinsburg, WV.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
