Step into a dynamic school-based environment, providing vital speech and language services for students from August 24th, 2026 through June 10th, 2027. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact each day. Your primary focus will be serving Cambridge-South Dorchester High School and the Dorchester Career & Technology Center, with one dedicated day per week supporting Maple Elementary School. This full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week role lets you collaborate closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring students receive comprehensive support for their communication needs.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Active Maryland SLP license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Ability to manage caseloads across multiple campuses
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs in speech, language, and communication
  • Develop and implement targeted intervention plans in line with IEP goals
  • Document student progress and maintain organized, compliant records
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to provide holistic support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student service planning
  • Provide consultation and training for school personnel when necessary
