Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher license required
  • Demonstrated experience working with K-8 student populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively
  • Adaptability and innovative approaches to instruction

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students receiving special education services
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to support individualized learning plans
  • Case manage IEPs, maintain compliant records, and participate in meetings
  • Foster a safe, positive classroom climate centered on respect and growth
