Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active and current Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
  • Skilled in assessing, planning, and delivering effective interventions for students K-12
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, especially in managing a dynamic caseload
  • Effective communication and rapport-building skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
  • Commitment to high standards of professional practice and ethical conduct

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized interventions
  • Implement therapy in small groups or individual sessions aligned with IEP goals
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation for all students receiving services
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and special education staff regarding student progress and adaptations
  • Participate in IEP meetings as needed and provide consultative support to educational teams
  • Remain onsite during scheduled days; virtual/remote work is not available for this role
