School Psychologist - Richlands, NC

Step into a dynamic role supporting students across multiple school sites as a School Psychologist. This contract position is full-time and onsite, bringing you the opportunity to work closely with students and staff at both elementary (K-5) and high school campuses, with the potential for some middle school involvement. While the primary focus is conducting evaluations, there is openness to a hybrid work model for the right candidate, offering some flexibility in your schedule.

In this role, you'll conduct comprehensive assessments to help guide student educational planning, collaborate with teachers and families, and play a key role in supporting student success across two diverse sites.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current School Psychologist certification/licensure required
• Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations
• Comfort working with students from K-5, high school, and possibly middle grades
• Ability to travel between two school locations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in school settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform student evaluations for special education eligibility and services
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on assessment results and recommendations
• Contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Consult and provide short-term interventions as needed
• Prepare thorough, timely assessment documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
