Job Description
Job Title: Aerospace Production Certification Instructor
Location: Everett, WA 98204
Duration: 3+ months (Possibility for multiple extensions.)
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: Contract
Pay Range: $30-$32/hr + Milage Expense Reimbursement
(Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
The hiring manager is seeking candidates with prior training or instructional experience. Curriculum client specific training will be provided for this role.
Requirements:
- Experience instructing technical courses.
- Strong presentation and classroom management skills.
- Strong technical skills background.
- Experience working with production standards and certification programs.
- Ability to adapt training style for different skill levels.
- Dress code is business casual
- Physical requirements, (i.e. Lifting, walking between 5 buildings, moving equipment)
- Standing up to teach all-day
- Schedule requirements and overtime expectations: 40-43hrs/week.
Shift/Location
- 1st Shift 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM +/- an hour OR 2nd Shift 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM +/- an hour
- Schedule requirements and overtime expectations: 40-43hrs/week.
- Everett only with Travel up to 25% (Averages out to about 1 week per month to a new site, mileage will be reimbursed)
- Mileage reimbursement for qualifying commutes (for miles driven beyond their home to their closest work location, they will submit expense)
Class Description:
1. Electrical Instructor
- Electrical Aircraft installations and assemble work
- Electrical Functional Test troubleshooting
- Electrical crimping
- Electrical soldering
- Basic mechanical skills
2. Aerospace Mechanical Skills Instructor
- Electrical installations, Bonding & Grounding
- Aircraft assembly, Heavy Structure Drilling, and/or Maintenance
- Blueprints, productions standards, and/or Functional Test
- Aircraft systems operations, familiarization, and troubleshooting
3. Aerospace Seal Instructor
- Experience in the application of Aircraft Sealant application
- Clean and apply a sealant to aircraft components
4. Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Instructor
- Experience in Confined Space, Lock Out Tag Tryout (LOTTO), DOT, and Fall Protection
