Job Title: Manufacturing Technician II

Location: Santa Monica, CA 90404

Pay Rate: $30/hr. to $33/hr. on W2

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Technician II to support viral vector manufacturing in a cGMP facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute manufacturing processes according to batch records, SOPs, and cGMP requirements.
• Perform raw material weighing, inventory transactions, and manufacturing activities using MES/EBS.
• Support chromatography, ultrafiltration/diafiltration, buffer preparation, and single-use systems.
• Assist with viral vector filling operations and filter integrity testing.
• Maintain aseptic technique, cleanroom practices, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Review manufacturing documentation and escalate process/equipment issues.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, MSAT, Engineering, Facilities, and Quality teams.
• Work off-shifts and weekends as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field; OR AA + 2 years; OR High School Diploma + 3 years of biotech/pharma manufacturing, quality, or engineering experience.
• Biopharmaceutical, cell/gene therapy, or cGMP experience preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, Microsoft Word/Excel, and data analysis skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
