Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Las Cruces, NM

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

• Provide speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing evaluations and therapy.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.

• Support AAC and functional communication needs.

• Provide dysphagia and mealtime safety services within scope and competence.

• Train staff and caregivers on client-specific communication and feeding strategies.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.

• Support client rights, safety, dignity, and person-centered care.

• Provide services across assigned residential locations.

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.

• Active New Mexico SLP license.

• Minimum 1 year of independent clinical experience after licensure.

• Experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.

• Dysphagia, AAC, and residential care experience preferred.

• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
