Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Las Cruces, NM
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Provide speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing evaluations and therapy.
Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
Support AAC and functional communication needs.
Provide dysphagia and mealtime safety services within scope and competence.
Train staff and caregivers on client-specific communication and feeding strategies.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
Support client rights, safety, dignity, and person-centered care.
Provide services across assigned residential locations.
Education, Licensure, and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
Active New Mexico SLP license.
Minimum 1 year of independent clinical experience after licensure.
Experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
Dysphagia, AAC, and residential care experience preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
