School Speech Language Pathologist - Trumbull, Connecticut

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Hold a valid Connecticut SLP license
• Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Have previous experience or comfort working within a school setting
• Demonstrate skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Exhibit flexibility and adaptability for working across different grade levels

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct therapy and intervention for middle and high school students
• Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and families
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participating actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
