We are looking for an IT Support Analyst to provide onsite technical assistance for end users in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving desktop support issues, assisting with hardware and software needs, and delivering dependable customer service in a hands-on environment. The role offers the opportunity to support daily IT operations while building practical experience across devices, applications, and user support functions.


Responsibilities:

• Deliver onsite desktop and technical support for staff by diagnosing and resolving day-to-day hardware, software, and access issues.

• Set up, configure, and deploy end-user equipment, including desktop and laptop systems, peripherals, and related technology tools.

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot operating systems, productivity applications, and business software used across assigned departments.

• Respond to service requests, assess user concerns, and provide timely solutions or escalate more complex problems when needed.

• Support account-related tasks such as Active Directory updates, access assistance, and basic user administration.

• Assist with system upgrades, device replacements, and rollout activities to ensure users remain productive during technology changes.

• Create reports, summaries, and other support documentation using available system and database information.

• Participate in routine technical analysis and help identify appropriate solutions based on operational needs.

• Provide occasional after-hours or weekend assistance when required to support business continuity.

• Associate’s degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field; equivalent directly related experience may be considered in place of education.

• At least 2 years of customer service experience supporting technology needs such as device setup, PC troubleshooting, or software/application support.

• Practical knowledge of desktop hardware, software installation, troubleshooting methods, and end-user support best practices.

• Experience working with technologies such as Microsoft environments, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Dell devices, Mac computers, and deskside support tools.

• Ability to evaluate user issues, identify root causes, and deliver clear, effective resolutions in a thorough manner.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.

• Valid New Mexico driver’s license or ability to obtain one by the start date.

• Availability to work onsite in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend support as needed.
