Social Worker Position

School Social Worker | Hillsdale, MI | Full-Time School Contract

A school district in the Hillsdale area is seeking a School Social Worker for a full-time onsite position during the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates will have an opportunity to discuss their preferred caseload during the interview process.

Schedule:

• Full-Time

• 35 Hours Per Week

• Monday-Friday

• Onsite Only

Contract Dates:

• August 24, 2026 – June 4, 2027

Caseload:

• Flexible based on candidate preference

• Specific caseload and student population discussed during interview

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group social work support

• Address student behavioral and social-emotional needs

• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

• Participate in IEP and student support meetings

• Assist with intervention planning and student advocacy

• Maintain required case documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Social Work license/credential required

• School-based experience preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
