Inpatient Pharmacist

Inpatient Pharmacist – Sylmar, CA

Great opportunity for an Inpatient Pharmacist to join a large hospital system in Sylmar, CA. They strongly prefer recent PGY1 graduates, but will consider non-PGYI candidates with some hospital experience, including hospital internship experience.

Position Details:

• Long-term contract with potential for contract-to-hire
• 8-hour shifts
• Must be flexible to work 1st and 2nd shifts; occasional 3rd shift may be required
• $60-65/hr

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient pharmacy services in a hospital setting
• Medication order verification and clinical pharmacy support
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Perform duties as assigned within the inpatient pharmacy

Ideal Candidate:

• Active California Pharmacist License
• PGY1 residency preferred
• OR approximately 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Non-PGYI candidates with hospital intern experience may be considered
• Must be comfortable working a flexible shift schedule
• Must be willing to commit to a long-term contract
