Job Description
Step into a dynamic, rewarding role supporting K-8 students across Midtown, Woodland Hills, and Glenville, just outside of Cleveland, OH. This full-time, contract position offers a unique hybrid schedule: enjoy the flexibility of working remotely on Mondays and Fridays, while collaborating with fellow educators and staff in person from Tuesday to Thursday.
As a Special Education professional, you’ll focus on comprehensive case management across up to 100 IEPs annually, instead of lead teaching. Use your expertise to write and facilitate IEPs, manage all related administrative responsibilities, and support diverse learners. Leverage the Same Goal IEP platform to help develop customized plans, ensuring every student receives the tailored resources and engagement they deserve.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Intervention Specialist license in Ohio (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intense)
- Experience with Same Goal IEP platform preferred
- Track record in Special Education case management for K-8 students
- Full understanding of IEP development, facilitation of IEP meetings, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Strong communication and administrative skills
- Comfortable supporting a broad range of disabilities through personalized plans
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage IEP caseloads (up to 100 annually) across designated school locations
- Write, revise, and implement IEPs to meet each student’s unique needs
- Facilitate collaborative IEP meetings with families, educators, and specialists
- Ensure all administrative and compliance aspects are completed skillfully and on schedule
- Work closely with school staff, providing expert guidance and support for IEP processes
