Key Qualifications:
- Current Maine Special Education Teacher License required
- Experience working with IEPs and special education compliance strongly preferred
- Ability to coordinate, collaborate, and communicate effectively with school personnel
- Strong organizational skills for managing changing support needs week-to-week
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend IEP meetings, primarily before or after the regular school day, ensuring availability to meet school scheduling needs
- Prepare written notices and other required documentation for meetings
- Enter and update student and meeting information in electronic IEP systems
- Collaborate with staff to coordinate schedules, providing dependable meeting and paperwork support across both middle and high school campuses
- Adapt to varying levels of support, guided by IEP deadlines and evolving schedules, to help teams meet critical timelines
