Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Special Education License and Certification
  • Willingness to obtain (or possession of) fingerprint clearance through OSPI
  • Previous Special Education teaching experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Full-time (37.5 hours/week) assignment from 8/26/2026 to 6/17/2027
  • Manage an LRC1 caseload at the elementary level, providing tailored instructional support
  • Develop and implement personalized education plans (IEPs) to help students thrive
  • Cultivate a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, therapists, and families for holistic student support
