Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Special Education License and Certification
- Willingness to obtain (or possession of) fingerprint clearance through OSPI
- Previous Special Education teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Responsibilities:
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week) assignment from 8/26/2026 to 6/17/2027
- Manage an LRC1 caseload at the elementary level, providing tailored instructional support
- Develop and implement personalized education plans (IEPs) to help students thrive
- Cultivate a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with fellow educators, therapists, and families for holistic student support
