Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a per diem position in Waxahachie, TX. This role involves working closely with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure accurate dispensing of medications and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
- Tuesday, August 18, 2026 | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours)
- Wednesday, August 19, 2026 | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours)
- Thursday, August 20, 2026 | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours)
- Friday, August 21, 2026 | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and authorized healthcare professionals.
- Provide customers with information about prescriptions, proper medication use, and answer related questions.
- Maintain a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support daily operations and maintain inventory.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License required.
- Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy pharmacy setting.
