We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to support core financial operations. This position will play an important role in maintaining accurate records, managing day-to-day accounting activity, and helping the organization stay aligned with reporting and budget expectations. The ideal candidate brings strong experience across payables, receivables, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance, along with a careful approach to audit readiness and financial accuracy.


Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, payment activity, and related records to ensure accounts payable transactions are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Manage customer billing, cash application, and account follow-up to keep accounts receivable balances current and well documented.

• Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.

• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies to support reliable month-end and periodic financial reporting.

• Assist with the development and tracking of annual budgets, including monitoring spending against established financial limits.

• Support internal audit activities by organizing financial documentation, validating account details, and responding to information requests.

• Review accounting records for completeness and accuracy and help resolve issues that may affect financial statements.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide accounting support, clarify financial data, and maintain compliance with established procedures.

• Proven experience in accounting roles with hands-on responsibility for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity.
• Strong ability to prepare journal entries, maintain accurate financial records, and support routine closing processes.
• Experience performing bank reconciliations and researching variances with a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with annual budgeting processes, including monitoring expenditures and working within budget constraints.
• Knowledge of internal audit support practices and the ability to gather and organize financial documentation effectively.
• Solid attention to detail, analytical thinking, and commitment to maintaining accurate and timely accounting information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high standard of work.
