Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Active Massachusetts Special Education Teacher license
- Previous experience supporting K-8 students preferred
- Ability to adapt to evolving classroom environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and individualized support to K-8 students with a variety of learning needs
- Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
