We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support inventory accuracy and material flow operations in South Carolina. This contract position offers the potential for a permanent role and is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and can keep inventory records organized while supporting daily production needs. The person in this role will help maintain stock integrity, assist with physical counts, and contribute to efficient warehouse and assembly line support.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor inventory movement and update records to ensure stock levels remain accurate across daily operations.
• Support materials handling for production and assembly activities by organizing, issuing, and replenishing needed items.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Track assets and maintain clear documentation for inventory usage, storage, and availability.
• Investigate inventory variances and work with internal teams to correct data and improve accuracy.
• Prepare inventory reports and communicate stock concerns that may affect workflow or fulfillment.
• Help maintain orderly storage areas so materials can be located quickly and handled safely.
• Follow established inventory control procedures while contributing to continuous improvement in logistics processes.• Experience working in inventory control, logistics, warehouse support, or a similar operational role.
• Ability to track stock, maintain accurate records, and manage asset inventory with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with physical inventory processes, including annual counts and routine inventory verification.
• Understanding of material flow in a production or assembly line environment.
• Comfortable using inventory systems, spreadsheets, or related tools to document and monitor stock activity.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize materials as part of daily warehouse or inventory tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
