Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Oregon as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with a school-aged population
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in various settings
- Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer guidance on language and communication strategies to staff and parents
