We are looking for a service-driven Member Service Agent to support members in Marble Falls, Texas within a credit union environment. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who enjoys helping people navigate financial services, building trusted relationships, and contributing to a positive branch experience. The role combines frontline member support with operational accuracy, community engagement, and careful attention to compliance and risk controls.
Responsibilities:
• Assist members with account-related requests, daily transactions, and enrollment in appropriate financial products and services.
• Develop strong member relationships by providing responsive guidance, clear communication, and personalized support.
• Process operational tasks tied to account resolution, invoice entry, and accounts payable activities with a high level of accuracy.
• Contribute to branch effectiveness by maintaining documentation, supporting cash and vault procedures, and following established internal controls.
• Help identify and reduce fraud and risk exposure by applying credit union policies and escalating concerns when needed.
• Work closely with branch staff and partner teams to resolve service issues and improve the overall member experience.
• Represent the credit union at community events and support outreach efforts that encourage financial education and local engagement.
• Complete required training and perform notarial services when applicable and authorized.• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in business, finance, or a related area is a plus.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in a banking or credit union setting.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time well, solve problems efficiently, and collaborate with a team-focused mindset.
• Familiarity with account resolution, vendor invoice processing, accounts payable, risk management, or related operational functions.
• Ability to meet pre-employment requirements, including credit review, background screening, and drug testing.
• Sound judgment, integrity, and a member-first approach to service.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish and relevant industry certifications are considered advantageous.
