Job Description
Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in an engaging, part-time contract opportunity near Augusta, GA. This in-person position is ideal for a dedicated SLP who enjoys working primarily with elementary-aged children to enhance communication skills and confidence in a school environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active SLP licensure in Georgia (CCC required)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Skilled in addressing articulation, language, and fluency needs
- Comfortable working with K-8 students, with a primary focus on K-5
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Please note: This role is not open for Clinical Fellows (CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) at this time
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and assessments, focusing on articulation, language, and fluency interventions
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure coordinated support for students
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Communicate regularly with school teams, parents, and district professionals regarding student progress
