Designer

One of our clients is looking to hire a CAD Designer or Junior Engineer for a local engineering firm that is focused on residential and commercial projects, small to mid-sized cities and the utility systems that serve those areas. These are the places where they can have the most immediate impact. Plenty of firms pay attention to the big guys; our client wants to serve the other guys. They have active projects in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi. Some of the projects they are working on include residential subdivisions, wastewater and water sewer treatment plans, wastewater and water distribution projects and other impactful projects.

This person will be in office from 8AM-5PM designing water treatment and wastewater projects. The more advanced designers will be involved in the engineering processes as well.

Required Skills & Experience:

-Civil 3D experience and/or significant Revit modeling experience with ability to pick up on Civil 3D quickly

-Piping, HVAC, mechanical background in the construction industry OR a water/wastewater background in the civil space

- Highly motivated self-starter, results-driven and teamwork oriented

- Coordination of drawing production activities between all disciplines at the project level

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
