This position is to cover a leave for the first semester, with the potential to extend through the end of the school year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid and active California Moderate/Severe (mod/severe) Education Specialist credential (required)
• Experience working with extensive support needs populations preferred

• Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for high school students in the ESN program
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to meet student needs
• Utilize behavior support strategies to encourage student engagement and progress
• Maintain precise documentation of student performance and communicate regularly with families and team members
• Support inclusion and participation in school activities
