Assignment Details:
- Contract runs from August 10th through the end of October
- Coverage includes students at two elementary schools
- Collaboration with an SLA, designed for supportive caseload management
- Open to both in-person and VOCO (virtual/remote) arrangements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid state licensure to practice as a school-based SLP in Indiana
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Ability to adapt therapy plans for a larger, diverse caseload
- Comfortable collaborating with SLAs and other school professionals
In this substitute role, you will:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy for approximately 117 students
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each child's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for holistic student support
- Supervise and coordinate services with the assigned SLA
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress
