Senior Accountant

Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with an organization in St. Louis seeking a full-time Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant must be able to work in a deadline driven environment with a high attention to detail and possess good communication skills to manage the accounting department.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

· Manage and perform all accounting functions, including general ledger, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and journal entries

· Lead the month-end and year-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

· Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis to support business decisions

· Maintain internal controls and audit readiness, including supporting external audits and compliance initiatives

· Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, analyzing performance against expectations

Senior Accountant Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance

· 5+ years of public accounting with supervisory required

· Intermediate Excel skills with QuickBooks experience
