Make a meaningful impact as a speech-language pathologist in an elementary setting just outside Roseburg, OR! This full-time contract opportunity spans from August 17, 2026, through June 11, 2027, and offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of about 50 elementary-aged students. With three positions available, you’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative department focused on helping young learners develop essential communication skills.

As an SLP here, your expertise will be valued—whether you're an experienced clinician or a clinical fellow ready for a great start (CF supervision is provided). You’ll work standard school hours, delivering both direct therapy and consultative services, and collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other service providers to create a positive learning environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Oregon SLP license (or eligibility to obtain by the start date)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred (or CFY candidates considered)
  • Experience in a school setting or a strong interest in working with children
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide diagnostic evaluations and evidence-based therapy for elementary students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with special education staff, general teachers, and families to support student success
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, school-wide initiatives, and professional development
