Medical Front Office Representative
Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Front Office Representative.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional, and compassionate manner.
* Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
* Register new patients and update demographic, insurance, and medical information.
* Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations when applicable.
* Manage incoming phone calls, patient inquiries, and appointment requests.
* Utilize Epic, CS-Link, or other EMR/EHR systems to enter, update, and maintain patient records.
* Process patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
* Collect copays, process payments, and maintain accurate documentation.
* Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff.
* Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
* Perform general administrative and front office support duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* 2+ years of patient services experience.
* 2+ years of experience working in a medical office, outpatient clinic, physician/doctor's office, or healthcare setting.
* Experience using CS-Link and/or Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
* Strong customer service and patient relations skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and healthcare technology systems.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical environment.
