2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor

The applicant for this position will be trained by a 1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor to learn all warehouse production, picking and packaging functions to then begin leading a small team during the new 2nd shift. This candidate will be involved in all hiring, training and managing for the new 2nd shift staff. The new 2nd shift supervisor will begin by assembling a small team ranging from 2-3 warehouse employees and more as needed. 2nd shift responsibilities include the below.

1. Operation of a basic style CNC fabrication machine

2. Picking and packaging of orders

3. Label generation and package relabeling

4. Wrapping product and assembling cartons

The parent company is in China and it’s the largest thermal transfer ribbon manufacturer. We started manufacturing ribbons in Charlotte in 2009 and then develop the 2nd location in California to serve the west coast customers.
