About the Role

The Senior Commercial Insurance Marketer, Broker is a critical role at a rapidly growing insurance brokerage. Marketing is an extension of the consulting process where you support internal sales and service teams as well as directly engaging with clients and markets. They want an entrepreneurial spirit and a solutions driven approach from an insurance professional experienced with hard-to-place accounts, especially property focused business, and E&S markets.

Location: San Francisco, CA. Hybrid schedule available.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Evaluate information gathered by the sales team on prospective clients
• Conduct coverage analysis and identify gaps/opportunities for improvement
• Take business to market and manage the process to obtain competitive and comprehensive quotes
• Participate in meetings and presentations with new and existing clients to talk through the marketplace, analyze coverage options, and select the most suitable insurance programs

Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge in commercial insurance program structures (including E&S lines), market trends, and carrier appetites
• Prior experience managing the marketing or placement process at a retail agency or wholesale broker
