Job Description
The Early Childhood Education Center Director oversees the daily operations of a single education center, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment aligned with Massachusetts EEC rules and regulations. Leading a large team, this role emphasizes staff management, curriculum adherence, and active communication with families to support children's development and program excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee program implementation and adherence to MA EEC regulations
- Manage and lead a large education staff team
- Plan and maintain curriculum following existing guidelines
- Monitor compliance with licensing and health standards
- Engage regularly with parents and families to support child development
- Facilitate staff training and professional development opportunities
- Ensure child safety and supervise daily activities
- Manage enrollment processes and maintain accurate records
- Foster leadership and cultivate a positive organizational culture
Qualifications
- MA EEC Director I or II certified
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ Years experience in early childhood education administration
- Demonstrated supervisory/leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in early childhood education administration
- Master's Degree
