Pay Rate:
- Level I: $30.00–$32.50/hr (DOE)
- Level II: $32.50–$34.00/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime Required: Including, but not limited to, frequent Saturdays from 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Electromechanical Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial machinery, production equipment, facility systems, and commercial building equipment. This position plays a vital role in minimizing downtime while supporting safe, efficient, and continuous manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, motors, conveyors, control circuits, PLCs, HVAC systems, pumps, and industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform root cause analysis to diagnose equipment failures.
- Repair and replace electrical components, motors, bearings, wiring, relays, switches, belts, and mechanical parts.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical systems and controls.
- Perform welding and fabrication using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding methods.
- Complete facility maintenance including plumbing, painting, concrete repair, fabrication, and general building maintenance.
- Maintain equipment records, preventive maintenance schedules, and CMMS work orders.
- Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and maintain 5S standards.
- Assist with training maintenance personnel and perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Level I
- Valid Texas Driver's License required.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience with blueprints, wiring diagrams, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and root cause analysis.
- Technical degree or license in Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC/Refrigeration preferred OR a minimum of 40 documented electrical training hours.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, lifts, forklifts, and testing equipment.
- Ability to obtain OSHA-powered equipment certifications within the required timeframe.
- Strong communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Level II
- Valid Texas Driver's License required.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Technical degree or license in Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC/Refrigeration required OR a minimum of 120 documented electrical training hours.
- Advanced troubleshooting and repair experience with industrial production equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. independently (team lift required for heavier items).
- Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, crawl, and work at elevated heights throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, noisy manufacturing environments, and around industrial equipment and hazardous chemicals.
Dress Code: Jeans/pants, T-shirt, and steel-toe or composite safety shoes. No ripped clothing, leggings, sleeveless shirts, or exposed ankles.
PPE: Safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel/composite toe shoes are required. Safety glasses and toe covers are provided if needed.
