Bilingual Spanish Lead Preschool Teacher (Early Childhood Education)

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate, energetic Bilingual Spanish Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team at WorldKids School of North Raleigh! In this role, you will lead a toddler or Pre-K classroom, create a nurturing, joyful, Spanish-rich learning environment where young children thrive. As a lead teacher, you will guide daily classroom activities, and implement engaging early childhood curriculum.

Duties

• Spanish Immersion: Conduct daily routines, play-based activities, and instruction in Spanish to foster natural language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
• Curriculum: Design and implement play-based lesson plans in Spanish using The Creative Curriculum®, aligning daily studies and interest areas with state early childhood standards. Document milestones using Tadpoles / Teaching Strategies GOLD®.
• Classroom Management & Leadership: Lead daily classroom routines and manage group dynamics using warm, positive reinforcement strategies.
• Safety & Operations: Maintain full compliance with NC DCDEE licensing standards, strict teacher-to-child ratios, and mandated reporting laws while accurately tracking daily attendance, developmental milestones, and health and safety documentation.
• Family Engagement: Foster warm, collaborative communication with families through regular updates, daily logs, and discussions regarding their child's progress.
• Classroom Environment: Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Language: Conversational Spanish skills required (comfortable conducting daily classroom routines, reading children's books, singing songs, and guiding play entirely in Spanish); clear English for parent and team communication.
• Experience: Proven experience as a lead or assistant teacher in a licensed preschool or child care setting, with demonstrated classroom management skills.
• Credentials: High school diploma or equivalent (minimum age 18); must meet NC DCDEE Lead Teacher qualifications (or equivalent coursework). EDU 119 required or must be obtained within the first year.
• Certifications: Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in health and safety protocols is preferred.
