Equipment Technician - Day Shift

One of our leading semiconductor clients is looking for a skilled Equipment Technician to join their team. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. This role is for Richardson TX or Dallas TX FAB.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs
  • Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issues
  • Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed
  • Prepare the technical report and summary findings and recommending solutions to technical problems

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must meet one of the following experience requirements:
    • At least 2 years of semiconductor technician experience, or
    • At least 8 years of non-semiconductor or military technician experience.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule.
  • Flexibility to work either day or night shift, including weekend and holiday coverage as required.

· Self-motivated with the ability to identify and resolve issues that improve equipment performance and reliability.

· Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical systems.

· Excellent organizational, teamwork, and technical problem-solving skills.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Demonstrated analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

· Takes initiative, follows issues through resolution, and consistently drives for results.

· Strong time-management and prioritization skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and interrupt-driven manufacturing environment.

· Demonstrated ability to build strong and productive working relationships across teams and functions.
