Paver Installer

Job Overview

We are seeking at least two motivated and detail-oriented Paver Installers or Laborers to join our installation team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various types of ground cover materials; primarily pavers, stone, blocks, and other hardscape elements. Your expertise and hard work will help transform outdoor spaces, and increase the value of homes in Florida. This position is very hard work but is also very rewarding - you will become stronger both physically and mentally if you stick with this career. It offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and expand your experience in the hardscaping industry. All of our work is residential and we keep a very high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction. Some work is repetitive, but rarely are any two projects the same.

If you are not physically fit or willing to put in the hard work or expand your knowledge, please don't bother applying, it will be difficult to last more than a week.

This is not a single location workplace. Work areas range from as far North as Citrus Springs and as far south as Spring Hill. If you live outside of this area, this may not be the right fit for you.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by excavating. Some will be performed manually, and some with machinery.
• Install crushed stone and various materials.
• Install pavers and block wall / curbing, decorative stone, and more.
• Build ground structures such as patios, walkways, driveways, steps, walls, and other decorative features.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials.
• You will be responsible for your own transportation to jobsites (There is an exception to this that be discussed only upon hiring).
• All guidance is provided by the owner who is mostly on site. You just need to show up to work, and follow instructions and safety protocols.
• Depending on your experience, you may be driving the work truck with trailers as well.

Experience:

The following experiences are necessary and your knowledge in these experiences will yield a higher pay rate.

• Proven experience in hardscape installation or related construction.
• Hands-on experience working outdoors for long hours in hardscaping or landscaping.
• Hands-on experience using compactors, saws, and excavation machinery.
• Know how to use a measuring tape and read it properly. Know how to calculate area and volume.
• Experience driving a truck with a tool or dump trailer attached. (not necessary for position)
