Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve açaí based desserts and other menu items according to Toupie’s recipes and standards.
• Greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including front-of-house and back-of-house spaces.
• Restock supplies, ingredients, and inventory as needed during shifts.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided. Previous experience in food service, retail, or customer-facing roles is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, customer-first attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the required schedule.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• VA Food handler’s certification is prefered.

Work Schedule:

• Part-time, up to 29 hours per week.
• Monday through Saturday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
• Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
• Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays is required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.
• Plus, Tips: Tips are not shared. Team members earn their own customer tips throughout their assigned shifts, which can significantly boost earnings.
