If You Know Injection Molds, We Want to Talk.We're looking for an experienced Tool & Die Maker / Mold Maker to join a growing precision manufacturing operation specializing in high-performance plastic injection molds.
This is an opportunity for a true craftsman who can build, repair, troubleshoot, fit, and finish complex molds — and who takes pride in getting the details right.
You'll work in a bright, clean, climate-controlled facility with sophisticated equipment, an experienced technical team, and the backing of an established international mold-manufacturing organization.
And it's a Monday–Friday day shift.
What You'll Be DoingBuild, assemble, repair, and maintain precision plastic injection molds
Perform mold fitting, spotting, assembly, and final finishing
Troubleshoot mold issues and determine appropriate repairs or modifications
Read and interpret complex mold drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and specifications
Machine and fit mold components to tight tolerances
Work with cores, cavities, inserts, slides, lifters, ejector systems, and other mold components
Perform precision grinding, milling, drilling, polishing, and bench work
Inspect components using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment
Diagnose wear, damage, dimensional issues, and mold-performance problems
Perform preventative maintenance and mold refurbishment
Work closely with CNC programmers, machinists, engineering, and production
Support new mold builds as well as repair and modification of existing tooling
5+ years of Tool & Die, Mold Making, or precision tooling experience
Strong experience with plastic injection molds
Ability to independently assemble, fit, troubleshoot, repair, and modify molds
Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills
Experience machining and fitting components to tight tolerances
Knowledge of mold construction, operation, and troubleshooting
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Experience using precision measuring equipment
Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams
Experience with high-cavitation or thin-wall packaging molds is a major plus.
