Job Description
A Barista serves as the face of the coffee shop, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality specialty coffee and beverage items, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation & Service
Prepare and serve hot, cold, and blended specialty coffee beverages according to standard recipes and quality standards.
Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, milk steamers, and drip brewers efficiently and safely.
Perform espresso extraction dial-ins and basic latte
Customer Experience & Sales
Greet customers warmly, answer questions about menu offerings, and offer recommendations based on customer preferences.
Process cash and digital card transactions accurately through the Point of Sale (POS) system.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints promptly with a positive attitude.
Skills & Competencies
Attention to detail in flavor profiles, presentation, and recipe adherence
Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
Strong team collaboration and communication
Basic math and cash-handling skills
