About the Position:
As a Property Manager & Leasing Specialist, you will play an important role in the day-to-day management of our diverse portfolio of properties. The primary focus of this position is leasing, including showing available units, processing applications, preparing and executing leases, and ensuring a smooth experience for new residents from application through move-in.
This position also involves regular interaction with current tenants, property owners, vendors, and members of our team. You will help address tenant concerns, resolve conflicts, identify property issues, and support the overall operation and success of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate professionally and promptly with prospective tenants regarding available properties.
- Schedule and conduct showings of vacant units throughout the Seattle area.
- Review and process rental applications in accordance with applicable City of Seattle and Washington State requirements.
- Prepare and execute leases accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure leasing activities comply with applicable Washington State and Seattle laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate a smooth move-in process for new tenants.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with tenants, property owners, vendors, and other business partners.
- Respond to tenant concerns and assist with resolving disputes and conflicts.
- Investigate complaints and conflicts thoroughly and determine appropriate resolutions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Use effective communication and conflict-resolution skills to address challenging situations professionally.
- Conduct property, building, and unit inspections.
- Identify and report maintenance, safety, or other property-related issues while visiting properties.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the property management company.
- Maintain accurate records and complete assigned administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Stay current with applicable landlord-tenant laws, regulations, and industry requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Interest in the Seattle Property Management field.
- Active Washington State Real Estate License or willingness to obtain license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with tenants, property owners, vendors, and coworkers.
- Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented when handling difficult or high-pressure situations.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
- Dependable, responsible, and able to follow through on assigned responsibilities.
- Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Word and Excel.
