Weighmaster

Weighmasters serve as the primary point of contact for customers at our facility, ensuring accurate scale transactions and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role emphasizes precise processing of inbound and outbound weigh transactions, verifying necessary paperwork, and adhering to regulatory compliance. Reporting regularly to the Lead Weighmaster, you will play a vital role within the operations team, balancing customer service with operational accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the scale
• Process inbound and outbound scale transactions using custom database tools
• Collect fees and verify required paperwork for compliance
• Respond to basic customer inquiries and emails
• Report operational or customer issues to the Lead Weighmaster
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the scale area
• Collaborate regularly with regulatory agencies through routine reporting
• Work overtime or weekends occasionally as required

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• NJ Weighmaster Certification
• Proficiency in customer service and data entry
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication abilities
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance
• Problem-solving and attention to detail
• Effective time management and flexibility
