Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Supervisor to lead our guest services team at a vibrant resort environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences from check-in to check-out. Your leadership will help foster a welcoming atmosphere, uphold high standards of hospitality, and coordinate with various departments to deliver seamless service. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to showcase their management skills and passion for guest relations. Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Duties

  • Supervise front desk staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with promptness and positivity, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee the operation of multi-line phone systems and ensure phone etiquette standards are consistently met.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to resolve guest issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Conduct night audits to reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare reports for management review.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest profiles, and billing information while adhering to privacy policies.
  • Cover any front desk shifts that are necessary due to busy season or call offs
  • Learn basics of Bistro restaurant to include taking orders, Starbucks, making drinks

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, with a strong focus on guest services.
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems and proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills combined with strong communication abilities and phone etiquette expertise.
  • Previous experience with night audit procedures is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A background in resort or hotel experience that emphasizes guest relations and hospitality excellence.
