Skilled Carpenter

R&D Construction and Handyman LLC, a top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling company serving NE Tennessee and SW Virginia since 2018, is urgently seeking skilled multi-trade Carpenters. This role involves hands-on carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling, and basic plumbing and electrical work on a variety of projects. Candidates should demonstrate strong craftsmanship, excellent customer service, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Regular local travel to worksites is required with occasional out-of-area projects. Tools will be a combination of personal and company-provided equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized carpentry tasks across multiple trades
• Complete maintenance and repair projects inside and outside residential and commercial properties
• Apply skills in tiling, painting, drywalling, basic plumbing, and electrical work
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, management, and office staff
• Maintain documentation and invoicing accurately for projects
• Travel regularly to local worksites and occasionally to out-of-area projects
• Use a combination of own and company tools proficiently
• Uphold a professional appearance and strong work ethic on all assignments

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in carpentry and related trades
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Proficient in carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
