Autonomous Vehicle Operator - (Night Shift ONLY)

• San Francisco, CA | On-Site | Full-Time Contract
• $29/hour + night/weekend bonuses.
• Operate advanced autonomous vehicles while supporting testing, data collection, and vehicle operations.

We are looking for detail-oriented drivers who are comfortable working overnight, using technology, and providing accurate written feedback. This is not a traditional driving job, successful candidates combine safe driving skills with strong computer ability and attention to detail.

Before Applying, You Should Be:

• Comfortable working night shifts only
• Able to drive 4–8 hours per shift
• Able to type 48+ WPM with minimal errors
• Comfortable completing computer-based reports and documentation
• Able to provide detailed written feedback
• Comfortable working independently and following safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Operate autonomous vehicles during testing operations
• Monitor vehicle behavior and report issues accurately
• Complete digital documentation and performance reports
• Provide written feedback to engineering and operations teams
• Perform vehicle inspections and readiness checks
• Follow operational procedures and safety standards
• Support vehicle movement, organization, and logistics
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness

Required Qualifications

Driving

• Excellent driving record
• Comfortable driving for extended periods
• Strong awareness of road safety and surroundings

Technology & Communication

• Minimum typing speed: 48 WPM
• Strong written communication skills
• Comfortable using computers, software tools, and digital systems
• Ability to accurately document technical information

Schedule

• Must be available for overnight shifts
• Must be comfortable with rotating schedules including weekends

Schedule Options

Night shifts only:

• 1:45 PM – 10:15 PM
• 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM
• 3:45 PM – 12:15 AM
• 5:45 PM – 2:00 AM

Schedules:

• Wednesday–Sunday
• Thursday–Monday
• Friday–Tuesday
• Saturday–Wednesday

Compensation

• $29/hour base pay
• Additional night shift bonuses
• Additional weekend bonuses
