The International Export Sales Coordinator works under the guidance of the Sr. Customer Service Manager in processing orders, preparing export documents, negotiating -Domestic & International on freight rates and processing samples ensuring compliance with US and foreign government laws and regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Enter, route, and process sales orders.
• Prepare required export documents in compliance with federal, state and foreign regulations.
• Negotiate shipping rates with freight forwarders.
• Process sample requests.
• Administer ACT! Database.
• Complete new customer set-ups; trade references, bank info, D&B report.
• Answer inquiries from brokers regarding commission and sales.
• Assist the Manager in researching open Accounts Receivable and collections.
• Assist Director and Managers on special projects such as trade shows and distributor visits.
• Provide administrative support to Director and Managers.
• Research damaged freight and process claims.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of three (3) years customer service export experience or freight forwarding experience.
• Familiarity with process, documents, and certificates needed to export orders.
• High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
