School Based Speech Language Pathologist (CFY welcome)

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (CFY welcome) to join our growing speech-language pathology team at Dragonfly Kids Therapy. As a Dragonfly speech therapist, you will provide speech and language services to students across various grade levels within a school setting. Dragonfly Kids Therapy is a small, therapist-owned company that provides comprehensive, consistent support to our therapists, as well as access to high-quality resources, therapy materials, and CEU opportunities. Our company is passionate about improving students' speech and language skills through evidence-based, multi-sensory methods and works collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to improve literacy outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students’ communication strengths and challenges using evidence-based techniques
• Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans that align with each student’s needs and educational goals
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing a variety of techniques
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs across various settings
• Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting therapy approaches to ensure consistent improvement and achievement of objectives and goals
• Participate in SST and IEP meetings to coordinate care for students with speech and language impairments

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
• Master's degree in speech-language pathology (or equivalent)
• ASHA membership (if Clinical Fellowship is already completed)
