Job Description
Audio/Visual Technician - $20-$35/hr - DOE
We are currently hiring Audio/Visual Technicians with minimum 3 years of experience in a commercial setting. These positions are commercial-based, construction installation positions. These positions are NOT event set-up and tear down nor are they related to the TV, film, or music industry.

Cable Technician Duties:
- Installation, service, testing, troubleshooting, or programming of numerous Audio Visual Systems including: Crestron, Extron, AMX, Smartboards, etc.
- Operation of test equipment: Volt Meter, Ohm Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Multi-Meter, and Impendence Meter
- Working in teams or independently to integrate various low voltage systems and complete commercial installation and service projects
Cable Technician Requirements:
- Recent experience performing low voltage / structured cabling installations in a commercial setting
- Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards
- Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels
- Fiber experience including Anaerobic Terminations, SC and LC Connectors, and Splicing is a huge plus
- Ability to read and understand schematic and line diagrams
- Your own basic telecom tools including punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, PPE (safety gear), etc.
Compensation:
- Competitive starting pay $20 - $30/hr or depending on experience
