We are looking for an experienced MRI Technologist to support pediatric MRI services across multiple campuses. The primary home site will be Richland, where the Siemens Virtual Cockpit equipment is located.
The technologist will remotely operate the MRI scanner at Greer, Tuomey, and Parkridge campuses using the Siemens Virtual Cockpit. If there are overnight MRI scans at these remote campuses, those cases will be the technologist’s main priority. When there are no remote-site scans, the technologist will assist with MRI scans at Richland.
Important: There is no physical floating between campuses. All remote-site scanning will be performed from Richland using the Virtual Cockpit.
Must-Have Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
- Must be ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT MR certification required
- BLS required
- Experience with both GE and Siemens MRI equipment
- Experience with 1.5T and 3T MRI
- Strong pediatric MRI experience required
- Experience scanning patients of all ages, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient MRI
- Experience with pediatric, stroke, and trauma patients
- Must be trained to use the Siemens Virtual Cockpit/Steering Client
- ARMRIT certification will NOT be accepted

- Travel experience
- Teaching or community hospital experience
