Hotel Resort Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience

7:00AM - 3:00PM

2:30 PM–11:00 PM | Full-Time

About the Position

Customer Driven Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a hotel property in Pompano Beach, FL. The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of maintenance and repair duties to ensure the property remains functional, safe, and well-maintained.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with general building maintenance, painting, electrical work, plumbing, or related trades.

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms, common areas, equipment, and exterior areas while responding to maintenance requests and addressing repairs throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property, including guest rooms, common areas, and exterior grounds
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
• Complete painting, drywall, and basic carpentry repairs as needed
• Respond to maintenance requests from hotel management and staff in a timely manner
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Follow all safety procedures, local codes, and hotel policies
• Assist with emergency repairs and after-hours situations as assigned
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance or a related trade
• Hands-on experience with painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of building systems and equipment
• Knowledge of proper safety practices and use of hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical maintenance duties
• Must be available to work 7:00AM - 3:00PM and 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, including weekends as needed
